New tab

The Item Explorer's New tab offers a single place where you can create any type of document, part or change.

Each section lists the available item types that can be created. For example, in the Documents list, clicking the row "Assembly drawing" will create an assembly drawing document type. Similarly, clicking the Parts list's "Purchased" will create a component part type, such as a bolt or resistor, supplied by one of your supply chain partners.

As you add templates for part types, document types and change forms in the Collection Explorer, these will be displayed in the Item Explorer's New tab.

There is a splitter control between each section. Move your mouse to the area just below the Documents or Parts list, and then adjust the height of each section by dragging the splitter bar.
