Approve tab

Specified departments or groups approve change forms. PDXpert lets you assign any user as an authorized reviewer to any department or group defined in an Organization collection member.

Before the change form is routed for approval, you can add and delete reviewing departments to the approval list. You can also specify the sequence in which the reviewers are notified and whether the reviewing department's participation is required or optional.

Authorized reviewers can review a change form that has been routed. A group's reviewer can never sign on behalf of another reviewer, and a reviewer cannot "unsign" a change form if a subsequent reviewer has acted on it.

As the change originator or analyst

Review order
The review order determines the sequence that reviewing departments will be notified of the routed change. You can have several departments with the same review order value; all departments that share the same review order will be notified at the same time.
Organization
Specify the organization that must review the change.
Department
Specify the department that must review the change.
Participation
Specify whether the reviewer is required to approve the change. If the reviewer is not required, the change will simultaneously notify the next department in sequence without waiting for the current department's response.

As a reviewer

Reviewer response (and status date)
Specify whether you approve, disapprove or have some other response to the change and its effect on the listed items.
Comments
You should add comments if you need to clarify your response.
Authorized signer
Your name will be shown if you're an authorized reviewer for the currently-selected department.
Password
When you lock the form after providing your response, you'll first be prompted to enter your password. After you've typed in your password, your response will be recorded, all fields will be locked, and the next department will be notified.
