Open the collection and select (click on) the existing member. The member becomes highlighted.
Press the keyboard's Delete key, or open the member's context menu and select the Delete Member command.
You cannot undo your deletion.
Collection members in use cannot be deleted. If you substitute other members for the selected member in every instance where the selected member is used, then you'll be able to delete the member.
