Web meeting setup

Your computer needs only Adobe Flash Player 9 (or higher) to attend a web meeting. We don't require anything installed on your computer.

If you have a web meeting scheduled with one of our application engineers, use the following information to join your meeting:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to this web page: https://ConnectNow.Acrobat.com/PDXpert

  2. On the ConnectNow Meeting Room window, (a) select the Enter as Guest option, (b) type your name, and (c) click the Enter Meeting button.

  3. A new Adobe ConnectNow window opens to connect you to the web meeting. (Minimizing or closing the web browser page now won't affect your connection.)

If your PDXpert host has not yet joined the meeting, then you may see this message:

PDXpert web meeting not started message

Please stay connected to the ConnectNow session until your host joins the meeting.

  4. When the meeting starts, you can adjust your view by zooming in or out using the controls near the bottom of the web meeting window.

The controls become visible when the mouse hovers over them. When zoomed in at certain levels, scroll bars appear on the right and bottom of the viewing area. The pointer changes to a hand that lets you move anywhere in the viewing area.

    • To maximize the Screen Sharing area ("pod") of your screen, click Full Screen. To minimize the screen again, press the Escape button on your keyboard.
    • Use the zoom tool to increase and decrease the shared content view at several levels.
    • When zoomed at a level where the scroll bars are shown, click the pointer icon to follow the presenter’s mouse on the screen. To scroll independently of the presenter, click the pointer icon again.
    • To request control of the presenter’s screen, click the steering wheel icon.

For more information about working within the web meeting, refer to the Adobe documentation:
