You can choose either a perpetual license or a subscription license, depending upon your requirements and budget. There are no premium-priced "administrator", "creator", or "approver" licenses - you can easily choose (and change) which permissions will be applied to each user account. And a free PDXpert server license is bundled with each set of user accounts license.

Perpetual license with annual maintenance, support and upgrade

Our affordable perpetual license provides the lowest long-term cost: a typical user account is less than US $0.17 per work hour¹ including full support and upgrades!

The perpetual license allows you to use PDXpert on a single server for the licensed number of user accounts, without any further payments.

Maintenance, support and upgrades

An optional maintenance, support and upgrade (MSU) subscription may be purchased annually. This subscription includes all product improvements published during the year, as well as telephone, email and web-based technical and application assistance. We encourage purchasing MSU for at least one year to ensure that you obtain all of the setup and configuration support you may need, as well as valuable advice applying product management best practices to your environment.

All-inclusive subscription license

Our all-inclusive subscription licensing is a budget-friendly alternative to getting started in PLM, or to accommodate variations in your project staffing levels. Subscription licenses always include full maintenance, support and upgrades.

You can select subscription periods from only one month up to 24 months. For example, if you're starting a large project that will require less staff in the future, you may choose to subscribe for the length of the project, then renew at the lower staffing level.

Notes

1. Twenty-user perpetual license with concurrent MSU subscription at current prices amortized over 5 years.

2. A user account is a log-in username and password, and represents one licensed seat. A user account may be used with any number of computers (e.g., office desktop and personal laptop), and can be used on several computers simultaneously (office and production floor). At your option, you can delete one person's user account and re-assign that user account license to a different person as a new user account. We do not offer concurrent or floating licenses.

4. Calculations exclude government-imposed fees (sales taxes, import duties, etc.) and any optional services.

Perpetual or Subscription?

Perpetual licenses provide the best cost over the long term: purchase now and the license is yours forever. A subscription works well where you have a variable need (say, contractors) or where your budget demands the lowest possible entry cost. We can also structure mixed licenses, which provide a "base" of perpetual licenses combined with short-term subscriptions - please contact us for assistance.
